The National Council of State Foundations for Research Support (Confap), in partnership with British universities, announces a call for researchers from the areas of Social Sciences and Humanities. Two public calls are open for cooperation with researchers from UK institutions: Newton Mobility Grants and Newton Advanced Fellowships, both from the British Academy. The calls are promoted by the Newton Fund, a British government initiative aimed at promoting the social and economic development of partner countries through research, science and technology.
For the called Newton Mobility Grants, Brazilian proponents must be PhDs attached to a Brazilian research institution or university. In the case of the called Newton Advanced Fellowships, mid-career doctoral researchers linked to Brazilian research institutions or universities can register for the purpose of promoting improvements in the development of their research groups through cooperation with researchers from the United Kingdom.
Submissions can be made until September 6th.
